hey guys,
read through a few fridgemate threads and still want to be sure as ever fridge seems a bit different. mine is an old kelvinator FN360T upright freezer with an installed fan.
the controller is a DEI 105A
http://www.craftbrewer.com.au/shop/details.asp?PID=889
what concerns me is the controller has a transformer to supply 12VAC which then goes to the compressor. and then, i suppose to the fan as well?
however, and this is where my questions start, does the fridge already have its own transformer for 12VAC? if not, is there a problem using this controller?
the closest thread i could find which looks like what i need is here:
http://www.aussiehomebrewer.com/forum/inde...7&hl=wiring
and has a link to this site which also looks about right (except, importantly, for the transformer):
http://helms-deep.cable.nu/~rwh/blog/?p=29
fridge cord into compressor:
not sure what the black round plastic bit is?
thanks, joe
