There was a bit about this on TV tonight and SWMBO said
"Now all their wines will taste the same" :p

Very astute comment for a casual beer drinker.

Astute remark in deed. Guilty by association. It is a fact that the sales of Fosters Beer has been on a downward slide for awhile around the world. If those drinkers turned away from Fosters because of their unpalatable refreshment, than it stand to reason that they will also turn away from Fosters marketed Wines because of once bitten, twice shy syndrome.

Cheers,
:chug:

Oh come on fellars, Southcorp owns Penfolds . Grange , Bin707, 389, St Henri, St George, some of the biggest vineyards in Coonawarra, Barossa, Hunter.
With that portfollio they make the best and most expensive reds in Aussie.

The hectolitres of plonk are what keeps them affording to produce the premium stuff.

Look on the bright side of life.

The growth of home winemakers may be on the up like us.

It's conglomerates such as Fosters with a paucity of credible products that drive us to our dizzy heights.

Yes. I have nothing against quaffing wine, quite the contrary :)
