well in my rush to fill up my second only keg i forgot to purp the air out of the top airspace, irish ale, i think by the next day i had burped the keg a few times playing with the regulator pressure etc,do you think this would have oxidised the beer in this time,

Would be suprised if it oxidises in that time frame personally. I have had beers I have done the same thing and only remembered to burp a week later, no problems here.

I would be very surprised if it affected the beer,

Unless you where shaking the Keg, to get the air to mix with all the beer, That would be about the only way it would affect the beer in that short time frame,

It will be fine. Racking the beer into a keg causes the beer to release C02. Providing you didn't have a big head space the C02 will drive of most of the oxygen that was in the keg.

Much like bottling, its unlikly you're going to cause oxidisation from a simple rack.
