I know right... plus when I went there last year there was a gift shop...
Why would you want to escape somewhere good enough to have a gift shop
 
Yeah that's why I looked it up, as I watched Escape from Alcatraz last night and the food looked pretty dismal in the movie with pasta for breakfast etc. Clint was amusing, most of his unclothed shots were movie doubles, apparently Clint has always had pathetically weedy legs and refuses to let them be shot, which is why he's always in long pants.

The Sheraton in San Francisco actually does Alcatraz nights where they recreate prison dinners, apparently quite delicious and only $28 a pop.

they did actually ;)

(probably not but they did sell a lot of useless crap)
