I have had 3 of these lying around for about 12 mths or so probably longer.
I originally picked them up for $2 and $1 each when they were discontinued in coles.
I was practicing my lagers at the time using wyeast yeasts and thought it may be good idea.

I'm not saying kits are bad or ag is superior. I made some good beers with kits the few times I used them.

Since I am crappy when it comes to building stuff and I tried cutting the support posts and they were too short i was looking around for something else to use and presto! there they were.

Damn, why didn't i think of that!? I was looking for a solution to exactly the same problem on the weekend. :)
 
i have 2 used 3l esb (paint cans) as my ferm fridge support. just the right size with a piece of pineboard underneath. wish my fridge was bigger ...

i've been using a piece of wood that's too short balancing over the plastic crisper containers
