If you can't be arsed and can find this stuf, it's by far the best falafel mix I've ever used. It's made in Melbourne. I mix in about 30% cooked quinoa, which makes them extra crunchy on the crust, and reduces the seasoning to English wifely levels.

My technique is pretty poor for falafels (tastes enough bad samples that I rarely make it) but a kilo of homemade tasty hummus will cost you less than $10 and last 3/4 weeks.
I'd forgotten about that... It was great. How did you make it?
