I don't have a car and I've already blown the budget after getting a pot as well, so that's why I'm thinking to use cheap and easy super glue if i can get away with it for this brew, and then switch to brass when I do the next brew after my exams
 
Superglue wont work.

a ) It wont stick to the esky plastic

b ) Its not suitable for filling gaps.

You can get aquiriam grade silicon

I virtually copied this blokes method and I've only just retired the rig after years of use. The only stuck sparges encountered were due to my own idiocy and lack of rice gulls.

Don't rely on adhesives to seal joints if you can, you're just asking for trouble.

I might add, test your rig mash out temperature water before show time and enjoy a stress free brew day.
