Thought this was worth putting down for a bit of a laugh (or a "WFT?").

I just had a quick not really serious look for grain mills and found these, byt the same seller...

Malt Muncher Grain Mill - $125
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Malt-Muncher-Grain-Mill-Home-Brew-/281111340795?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_15&hash=item41738aa6fb

Malt Muncher Grain Mill + FREE BONUS Floating Thermometer & Hydrometer ($19.90 value) - ... $160
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Malt-Muncher-Grain-Mill-FREE-BONUS-Floating-Thermometer-Hydrometer-Home-Brew-/271292793076?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_15&hash=item3f2a4f80f4

I don't know about you, but I love paying an extra $35 in order to get $20 worth of stuff for "free"...

Seems pretty obvious. The extra goodies ARE free, it costs $35 to bundle and package all three together -_-

The guy is a goose.
After being a regular, satisfied customer for a number of years, I bought two thermometers (one was the floating one), both advertised as accurate but neither were, and the graduations on the long glass one rubbed off very easily with use.
Upon reporting my observations, he promptly banned me from purchasing from his ebay store!
I lost one retailer, he has lost quite a few potential customers.

Looks like some quality marketing, though if you look at past history of sales you can see the prices show the bundle selling for the same price in the past.. Just makes them look dodgy when they dont maintain/update pricing correctly

$15 Keg

You are looking at a Ball Lock Keg With DEFECTS!!!!

This is a damaged item, hence the reduce price.

As this is damaged stock, sales are final on this item. Refunds and returns will not be accepted, so please make a note of this before purchasing. WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET!!!
Following are the details of the damage (pictures are of actual BALL LOCK KEG WITH DEFECTS for sale):

  • Both the 'out' and 'in' posts are missing. (see pictures taken).
  • It is slightly dirty inside the body of the keg. (see pictures)
  • There are leakages on the body of the keg. (We marked it as 'X', see pictures)
  • So, this keg might not hold pressure as good as the normal keg could.

DAFAQ?

"Might not hold pressure as good as the normal keg could"

Classic.

I asked them to chase up some hops which had been a while in the mail, they didn't muck around and sent a new batch no questions asked.... maybe he'd just lost a batch or something the day he dealt with you!

I would've thought return, but seems very strange having a return at the bottom of the MT..

Maybe for reticulation, with a return at bottom across element and another over the top?
