The guy is a goose.
After being a regular, satisfied customer for a number of years, I bought two thermometers (one was the floating one), both advertised as accurate but neither were, and the graduations on the long glass one rubbed off very easily with use.
Upon reporting my observations, he promptly banned me from purchasing from his ebay store!
I lost one retailer, he has lost quite a few potential customers.
Just don't question the quality or make a complaint...Lochem said:Strange indeed.... I'm a regular customer....never had a problem with them before!
Looks like some quality marketing, though if you look at past history of sales you can see the prices show the bundle selling for the same price in the past.. Just makes them look dodgy when they dont maintain/update pricing correctlyMick0s said:Thought this was worth putting down for a bit of a laugh (or a "WFT?").
I don't know about you, but I love paying an extra $35 in order to get $20 worth of stuff for "free"...
I asked them to chase up some hops which had been a while in the mail, they didn't muck around and sent a new batch no questions asked.... maybe he'd just lost a batch or something the day he dealt with you!NewtownClown said:Just don't question the quality or make a complaint...
