Hi Guys,

About to do a double batch, and i am pretty sure the answer is yes, but just want to make sure.

When making a double batch, do i need to double the quantity of hops? I just want to make sure i am not over doing the hops.

cheers

DT

I haven't made a double batch but I think that's correct.

Are you using extract? I'd say yes- that's what I do with my AG recipes, I don't see any reason why it'll be different for extract.

When i was double kitting I was using double hops. My local homebrew store also recommended double yeasting, but I just rehydrated a single packet of yeast and used it. I just made sure I aerated the wort well before pitching.

Yes it is an extract brew, using dry malt.

I was not going to double the yeast as i haven't had issues using 1 packet on my toucan brews
