I love my bling milk crates.

It's not a brewhouse without milk crates.

Youre not a real brewer unless.....

and don't forget besser blocks...

YES!

Bling Is Tops

I love my over complicated, almost confusing brew rig.

And i have to say.......... i AM making better beer now than when i was using the esky and pot method.

I can set it and forget it and know that the temps will hold true, my strike is always spot on, and the beer is clear at the 60 minuite mark, ready to run the the kettle.

Its effortless and people who visit go..... WWWHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOO look at that :)

BLING ME BABY :)

cheers

Does Bling Make Your Beer Better?

Mr T thinks so.

I think the 'Schumacher's' idea needs an airing. If I drove his F1 Ferrari, I would drive like crap and probably crash it. He knows how to drive it. Need I say more?

Yes but if you drove it with air-gas bouncing shocks, a big chrome grill, a big fart can exhaust, extra wings, go-fast stickers, fake NOS exhaust gassers, well then?

I'll go for the experience of the brewer over the bling anytime.

I can't speak for other prize-winning brewers at the last (2006) NSW State comp...but I don't have much bling and certainly didn't when I brewed my old ale 4 yrs back.

It's true that one may accumulate bling along the way, but U don't need it to start out, nor to make great beer.

Patience and a cultivated/experienced palate will help. BTW, where's the 2007 BJCP learning thread? Is anyone running one this year?

Seth :p
