Dishwasher 101

My missus brought a box of Finish tablets with the ball in the middle on Groupon and they were very very cheap and will last for years.

I often put beer bottles in my dishwasher and do a full cycle with some sodium percarbonate. It cleans the dishwasher and gives the bottles a good clean.

Same here, we find the Finish Quantum really do a great job. Ended up on a Groupon/Scoopon deal picking up many months worth cheap.

Use some bicarb instead of dishwashing detergent occasionally. Its great for cleaning out the pipes, but also works a treat as detergent if you run out of the bought stuff

Put some sodium perc thru one of the washes and it cleaned things nicely. I was going to make up some PBW and run it through but decided against it in case some dishwasher parts didnt like it.

I was wondering about the Perc, might try it next time. I've been putting through CLR.

In fact, having had a few ciders I'll do the Perc right now so sue me.
