I tried out my PET CPBF for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Trial run for case swap. I was running at 10psi on reg. I still had a major issues with foaming. Everything else went well. They sealed well and held that pressure.
I was consistently having about 1/3 foam - 2/3 beer in the PET bottles. So I would 'push' the foam out the overflow but i think this led to flatter beers? Only JUST enough carbonation to be fizzy when poured, minimal head if any in some bottles. No release of C02 when you crack the bottles though? It came out NOTHING like the set of videos I watched on one of the posts on here (Thirstyboy?) and he had absolutely NO FOAM while filling then lovely head when poured.
I bottled the whole keg as I didn't know they were 'undercarbed' at this stage. When i re-read the instructions a few days later it recommends 15-30 psi.
Should I up the pressure to say 25 psi next time?
Other then that I love it as its no mess and easy to use. Once you mount it and get the hoses / disconnects setup.
Cheers
