For those of you that have purchased a 50lt keg of commercial beer for a function or party, what was the going rate in your area.

here's a mob in Brisbane. decent stuff is 300-350 for the keg, plus extra for hire of the dispensing equipment

We got a 50L Mountain Goat Steam Ale keg around xmas time from Kegs on legs. Was around $350 also.

I know a guy that works in a bar in Newcastle and said he would get me a 50L keg of tooheys new for $200 with the gear to dispense it or $185 for just the keg. He was a friend of mine so that might be why it's so cheap.
