Took mine away for a weekend and the ice started to melt really fast so threw some ice bricks in and frozen water bottles and it kept much longer. My stubbies wernt cool when they went in though so could of been the issue. You can put 2 ice bricks in the lid but I dont think it does much unless the esky is already full of ice and cold beer.431neb said:I put a bag of ice in a similar willow esky yesterday with a few stubbies. Next time I'll put it all in the oven. It will last longer that way.
It seems to perform very well if the weather is Arctic also. Hence my esky collection is like my wardrobe. It changes with the season.Midnight Brew said:Took mine away for a weekend and the ice started to melt really fast so threw some ice bricks in and frozen water bottles and it kept much longer. Funny. Was in forest hill Coles yesterday still a bunch there at $29. Near the liquor entry from the supermarket.beermeupscotty said:Left a friend's early tonight and sped to the Forest Hill Coles (arriving a few mins before close) only to find they're full price ($90). I also checked Coles in Flemington this morning and it was the same story.
Really bummed I wasn't able to get one of these while they were on sale.
Whaaaat? I went inside and saw the stack marked @ $90 and even went up to the counter to have them check it with the scanner. Then a couple of staff looked at the current and previous catalogues for me...mudd said:Funny. Was in forest hill Coles yesterday still a bunch there at $29.
