Has anyone incorporated a rotormeter or flow control meter into to there keg carbonation system?
BYO mag had an article late last year on this topic and I was able to pick up Key instruments flowmeter for $20AU delivered from the USA (see pic attached).
Currently - my carbonation protocol is to cool the keg 24hrs - apply the appropriate c02 volume for the style of beer for 48hrs and then disconnect co2 and leave in my fridge.
Hopefully the rotormeter will will add value and improve my carbonation system.
My plan is to incorporate it into the system possibly this weekend as well as output flow control valves as well to reduce co2 breakout in the faucet beer lines and try carbonating a keg or two next week.
Any comments or suggestions?
