I sent a recipe to a mate for Chocolate Porter so he could purchase the grain for a weekend brew session this weekend.

The original grain bill was:
4.5kg JW Trad Ale
1kg Wey Munich 1
500g Simpsons Med Crystal
400g Wey Carafa Special 2
100g Simpsons Roasted Barley

He ordered Weyermann CaraMunich 1 in place of the Munich 1 in error.
The CaraMunich is mixed with only with the Carafa so he could attempt to separate the grains by colour.

Is it worth separating the grains or if we go ahead, will going to have any major impact on the final beer and will the mash convert??

He also cocked up a second grain bill badly but I can fix it by mixing and splitting.

Order again and just use the cara for future, appropriate beers knowing it has a shade of darker grain in it.
A tad in a belgian dark strong or esb would work.
