G'day Brewers,

After recently buying 100 Pick Axe brand bottles and cleaning them (see my post here) my finacee and I heard a cracking sound.

So I got my trusty dolphin torch and start shining it into the bottles to find the crack. Unfortunately there were some forty bottles in the batch of cleaned bottles.

My fiancee came up with a much quicker way to find the busted bottle. She used the handle of a teaspoon to tap all the bottles. When we heard one that sounded more "dull" than the others, I knew she had found the cracked culprit.

I also accidentally broke one of the bottles when stacking them away in my storage crates. Now I have only 98 beer bottles on the wall...

Just thought I'd share this with you all. Hopefully some will find it useful.

Cheers and happy brewing,
Damo

You're bloody fortunate to have pickaxes which in MHO are the best & strongest beer bottles in Australia.
The few I own just keep on going & going & going & --- well you get my drift?
Willing to exchange all my XXXX crownies at three for your one if you will pay the postage to my addy?
