Noticed a cascade bright ale at my local bottlo the other day. Sort of didn't dawn on me until much later that it was something I'd never seen before. Looking at their web site it seems their whole range has had a make over. 5.8% bright ale at 23IBU sounds different. Any one tried it or know what they've done.

Again. Last time there was an amber ale amongst them......was around 2006/7 when I was living in QLD IIRC. Not great beers by any stretch (if you're willing to cry cat's piss at the sail and anchor or james squire brews then these aren't for you....) but never found them to be kitchen sink worthy.

I reckon that stout is a slightly different beast to the Cascade Export Stout we (ironically) only get down here. I'm quite fond of the export when I'm in a place where that's the best beer on offer.......the other.....not so much.
