Every fortnight my colleague and I spend the day visiting our Gold Coast customers and usually have some lunch and a couple of pints somewhere. Is there anywhere with even a couple of decent options on tap anywhere around the Surfers area? We tried the Casino last week, as I'd heard the Prince Alfred was worth a look but every single bar was closed at lunchtime on a Wednesday.

I don't think I can take going to the bar next week and seeing the usual "selection" of ExtraPureDryLightBlonde.

Help me AHB, you're my only hope.

The recent ash-cloud event for me , meant a two night stop-over last week at the Marriott Resort , Surfers Paradise, all courtesy of Qantas.
The staff, more than helpful, excellent menu and fine food, and , the best Fat Yak I've ever had on tap !!! ( A beer I have previously bagged on this forum)

A big thumbs up from me

One of the bars in the Casino has Stone & Wood Pacific Ale and Fat Yak on tap.
It's the bar straight across from the entrance to the gambling section.

Thats the Prince Albert, hang around long enough and you'll be totally Pierced.

Just looked and none of the casino bars are open before 5pm, except those in the actual gaming areas.

Back to the drawing board...
