Some very cruel people on here.

Make him sample more indeed.

Surely beer cannot be written off as the culprit on the weight of the fact that this poor bloke has been crook twice? Why not experiment a little to see if you can isolate anything? (That is if this isnt a random chance thing)

To demonise the drink after 2 episodes is a bit full on isnt it?

Then again..... Every time I get p*ssed, the last thing I remember is crawling into bed. Given the next day I feel like crap, then obviously sleep is the culprit.

Pale Ale and no-doze for me from now on.......

I am not demonising it at all infact all evidence points to the beer being fine, however wether or not if its in his head or not wouldnt it be better to leave well enough alone?

And I am pretty sure he'd be able to tell if a homebrew was to try to be passed off as a commercial beer and depending on the person you may even get decked.

What I was suggesting before was to give him a commercial beer (let him open it if you wish), but make it a CPA or CSA, which has active yeast in it. See if that sends him off.

However, checking for allergy/intolerance may be a better thing to do.

God forbid that he be allergic to beer !
