i was at kmart, and saw they have some 'brigalow finishing hops' which are a disolvable tablet it says to add at the start of fermentation. it doesnt say anything more than that on the packet, i was wondering does it actually do anything and if so what?

cheers :icon_cheers:

that sounds terrible... buy a bag of real hops from your local!

They are kick ass dude

I munch em like fruit tingles

Seriously though

Try some REAL hops and you'll never turn back

When I first started looking around for ways to make my brews more interesting I grabbed a few packs. They help a bit with head retention and formation. That's pretty much it - no flavour or aroma. If you can access proper pellets, plugs or flowers then go for that.

It won't hurt your brew but there's much better products to spend money on.

I picked up a pack today as well - was going to ask the same question.

Thinking of puting it in when I do the secondary for a week before I keg.
