Great Customer service from Brewman , had a message from Mark regarding my postage costs , he left his number so I could ring him. Great info about dialing my system in , and using brewbuilder to get more bang for my buck with grain . Only a few brews in for me and he gave me much food for thought . Big thumbs up from me , thanks Steve and Mark

Hey -

I used my oxygenation wand for the first time last brew.
It's a lot easier to use than just the air-stone on flexible plastic pipe.
Makes using the O2 kit much easier - a nice and inexpensive upgrade.

cheers,

x2.

I honestly believe the aeration kit should come with the wand or at least a note on the page strongly recommending it! For an extra $25, the hassle of a bending line is negated!

Happy with the gear @Brewman_, just a suggestion! :)

Yeah it is a good point.
If I step back and put the very best product forward it would have the wand attached.

I have held back on doing in an effort to keep the entry point of the kit down.

Maybe could offer it both ways.

Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated.

Cheers Steve

Fair call Steve.

If you are able to, I would offer it and recommend it as the better option. It may come across as "up selling" but there will those like me who will happily pay a bit extra for the convenience.

For what it's worth, I went with your kit as it's the best value with the standard 6mm line.
I was annoyed that the hardest part about my aeration was keeping sight of the stone and wondering what depth it was in the FV. The wand is a "set and forget" which helps a lot IMO.

Thank-you for taking the time to consider it mate.

Is 2042 Danish lager still available? I hear talk about it and have just noticed it's now called 2042-PC. :angry2:

Bad news alright.

Yes Wyeast did a review and placed some Aussie favourites into the PC range. Including the 2042 and 2001.

They brought the Farmhouse yeast out as an all year round.
