so been on holiday for while and finally getting round to putting down a brew tomorrow here is my recipe thoughts ?

batch size : 21 l
60 min boil

6.12kg maris otter pale malt
10 g chinook @ 60 mins
15 g amarillo @ 20 mins
15 g chinook @ 20 mins
20 g simcoe @ 20 mins
15 g simcoe @ 5 mins
20 g amarillo @ 5 mins
uso5 yeast

mash temp=66
sparge temp =75.6

unsure of what to dry hop with yet any ideas ?? :D

Amarillo and Simcoe - 5g/L is what Id go with.

interested to see the colour of this brew with just MO, quite a straw colour?
what sort of abv do you expect from that?
keen to hear how it turns out, tho not a fan of amarillo

I brewed a MO / Cascade smash but didn't dry hop. They idea was to save a few bottles to compare with future smash brews, only have two bottles left........

Check out photo for colour Droid

MO Cascade SMaSH.jpg

last brew i did with just mo came out a light golden colour ..abv should be around 6.5

don't want to hijack the thread anymore, in my beers i have blamed it for a spice character that i don't like...therefore it is a hop of interest in my investigation

carry on, as you were

Likewise don't want to go OT but the only beer I've made with Amarillo was all Amarillo to see what is was like, NOT a fan, it'd be okay as a background hop but as a flavour, aroma addition too spicy and herby and grassy for me
