Family brought back six of the Bootleg Brewery beers from WA.

Have to say this was the most beautiful selection of beers I've had for quite some time.

The Settler's Pale and Raging Bull I found especially enjoyable..

Highly recommend them all.

That is all.

A mate brought a six pack back a few months ago and was quite impressed as well, the stout was nice.

Been there a few times, nice beer.
micro-breweries are popping up all over the lower south west, good times :D

Tried their barley wine at the St Kilda Taphouse (Barleywine, draught! We need a taphouse in bris.) recently and was quite impressed, although i'm a tad limited in experience with the style.

I was there a few weeks ago. Raging Bull and Settlers Pale definite faves. I thought the Oatmeal Stout was 300% more star anise than I needed, but I am sensitive to it. I noticed a huge amount of sulphur in the Wils Pils when I tried it on tap at Clancy's Fish Pub, but other than that it was very clean and crisp. I also found the hefe very agreeable and would drink it here in Syd if I could get it in good condition.

Yep all good beers there,,, esp there settlers pale.. yummo

I tried the Grandfather MKII Oak Aged Barley wine when I was down there a few months ago and loved it :icon_drool2: . The Raging Bull is a lovely drop too :)

Yea i droped past there a few months back. Good beer and nice place. As others have said settlers ale and raging bull are my favourites. The stout was a tad over board in the aniseed department. But my mate loved it.

My local bottle shop used to sell a lot of local beers and Bootleg was one of them. One day I walked in and it was "converted" to a BWS. All locals gone :(

Great drop from there, and they do a nice steak sandwich.
