hey just need a little opinion and some help..im new to brewing apple cider..i recently started a brew of black rock cider, 1 kg of dextrose, and 2 litres of apple juice..my air lock hasnt bubbled once...i changed seals and checked for leaks but found none...but brew is foaming white and brown..is my brew ok or is it bugged..the water in air lock went up but not enough to kick it over to bubble..plzzz help

Don't worry about the airlock not bubbling. Is the underside of the lid all covered in condensation? If so it's fermenting. I've found once that I had too much water in the airlock and it just didn't push through, brew fermented out perfectly though.

I just put down my first cider on Saturday as follows:

3 x 2.4L Apple and Triple Berry (Brand slips my mind)
Then topped up to 24L with Berri Apple and Pear juice.
450g Lactose
3-400g of Dextrose

Wyeast 4766 Cider.

Fermenting like mad at around 17 degrees. Tastes spectacular and is drying out nicely. Lactose should allow for some residual sweetness.

yer there's condensation..white and brown foam too..what sg reading should i end with its been 6 days..
