In a Gas fired BIAB system, do I still need a "false-bottom" ie cake/pizza tray etc to keep the bag off of the bottom?
If i put the bag in at mash temp, will the bottom of the pot be hot enough to scorch the bag?
I guess i'm also limiting myself to absolutely no mash out temp raises without a false bottom....
any advice? cheers
