Bees love wort - do they?

Making some wort today, and then noticed a few bees hanging around.
I shoooo-ed them off, but they kept coming back.
When I added the hops to the boil, they sort of hung back.
At 3rd hops there were no bees.

I found this interesting.

I generally get the odd wasp during the boil never any bees.

On Saturday I found a bee on my robobrew false bottom after pumping wort to my fermenter, I saw it hang around earlier then I guess it got too close.

I always get them hanging around the boil. To the point I have found one at the bottom of a fermenter.

I find them whenmost attracted to the boil when doing a high gravity boil.

I have had a few wasps in the boil. I dont mind I find it gives my beer a buzz........
