I do double batches and have generally had to top up post boil to get the desired volume. Previously it was about 10L but am now increasing the boil volume so it's down to 5L. When looking at the brew sheet it says
-est post boil volume will be 41.6L at est OG of 1.043
-cool and transfer to fermenter
-add water to 42L.
-Measure actual OG (target 1.043)

Even though I have it set in the water volumes tab to add 5L post boil it doesn't come up on the brew sheet - is there a way to do this because some brews I'll need to add more water depending on the boil time.

Now if the post boil OG is 1.043 and I add 5L this will cause the OG to drop a point or two. The recipe target OG is meant to be 1.043 which is pre-ferment. Shouldn't it just say what the target OG is for the fermenter rather than the pre-top up gravity?

I only noticed it as last night I brewed a CPA clone and topped up 3L in the kettle before transferring to get the 1.043. I did add a little more in the mash and sparge. The pre-top up gravity was 1.045.
