Beer & Brewer Expo

Hi all,

All you melburnians who went to the beer & brewer expo - Who got #?*! up after 4 hrs of harcore tasting & drinking..... :icon_vomit:

My head is sore this morning - after kicking on in one of the bars afterwards!!

Pretty good expo all up I think?? Bring back the tasting tickets I think!!

Anyone who went - what was the beer of your preference you tasted??

I went on Friday.

After trying many beers that I hadn't had yet I kept coming back to Stone and Wood Draught.

Yes there were some fascinating beers at the Expo, some hopped like mad and some lovely rich beers but S&W Draught with it's brilliant balance of Galaxy hop is a great beer.

EDIT: I was pretty keen to try the Brewdog Punk IPA, had a taste and thought 'hang on a minute...i just accidentally made an IPA like this the other day!'. Strong bitterness! I think mine might tone down after some maturing but it is still a tongue tearer.

Oh those Epic beers were well.....truly epic or is that Ipek couldn't get enough,
the White Rabbit white was good,
Bridge rd Brewers Galaxy
oh and Punk IPA on tap was awesome,
went to the taphouse later for a top up of great beers!
