Bad tasting beer

HI all

A couple of kits that I have brewed lately (coopers pale ale) have had a bad metalic taste.

Any ideas please

Sanitize better, get your temp steady around 18-20 deg, use a better yeast, the list goes on...

Snnitization is good temp may be way to high, room temp in Sydney, Yeast is Fermentis or from Young Henerys in Sydney

stick your fermenter in a bath/tub/laundry half full of water and drape a wet towel around the fermenter
freeze up 4 or so 1.25L coke bottles full of water and stick them in the water if you need to get colder

Otherwise look around for a cheap/free fridge, add a temp controller and you're set for life (or until the fridge carks it)

Sounds like the classic kit twang. If you're going to use kits, make sure they're fresh and well handled.
