Over the last year i have been brewing very delicate beers such as kolschs with my drinking friends delighted by them using a sestos pid.

Since i bought an auber pid because of the ramp/flow feature things have changed dramaticaly. I inititially had a keg king element and it was scorched all over. I then used an ultra low density element from stilldragon. It was still scorched.

It seems that the auber goes balls to the wall while the sestos is much more gentle. It actually changes the pow er output.

I will probably end up buying a herms system with the auber pid just because i can use it with a programmable pid simply because i am lazy.

Has anyone else had similar experiences.

I think you can only use the auber wiith a herms system.

A sestos with rims is fine
