Does anyone have a ALL GRAIN recipe for a Asaki, or Sopporo or any japanese beer clones?

ps- Is it possible to search the recipeDB?

Start by getting the spelling right, and do a search :)

Try putting "asahi sapporo" in the search box, you should find some results.

- Pilsner malt
- Generous amount of Rice
- Wyeast 2007 Pilsen Lager fermented cold
- Possibly amylase enzyme to dry it out as much as possible
- high carbonation

Just the guesses of an amateur. Sorry I can't offer more.

I'm curious, why are you looking to brew Asahi? It reminds me of water more than beer. I believe it's also brewed-under-license in Australia.

Grab yourself a copy of Clone Brews, it has recipes for Asahi Dry, Kirin & also Sapporo Black Stout.

Available from some of our sponsors, I believe Grain & Grain may carry it. Alternatively try Amazon.com.

I've made the Kirin a few times, and although it's a simple recipe it's pretty darn close.

If that's your cup of tea, there's also recipes for Tsing-Tao and Bin Tang.

EDIT: has extract, partial and all-grain versions for each recipe.

HBS in Southport was selling some ultra light extract - to be honest I can't remember what it was - but upon enquiry was told it was for making Japanese style beers. It was a fair while ago, but was a Brewcraft product in a small clear jar - not unlike a vegemite jar. Looked like glucose syrup from memory.
