Has anyone used Tapadraft. Whats it like and would you recommend it.

i looked at it when first stating to keg as a portable system.
just buy a couple of 9L kegs they are cheaper in the long run as you have to replace the bottles every 6 uses or something close to that figure.
search for tap a boom on here and you will see what i mean

I'll stick the crown seals for now, if I get more into beer maybe I'll look into investing more for kegs.

I bought the kit, and while I don't regret it, I also don't recommend it.

It ends up being quite expensive, considering you need to replace the bottles, and buy high cost CO2 cartridges. The boxes of cartridges may not look too expensive on the shelf, but you need two per 6L bottle, and it adds up quick.

I used mine for about 3-6 months and just stopped. I saved my dollars from buying new bottles and CO2 carts and stumped for a kegging system. If you're absolutely sure you will never, ever, get a keg setup, then go for it.

If you think you may want to buy a keg setup in the future, then just keep washing bottles and saving your money for that. It's not a stepping stone.

will do.. I like the idea of having a keg setup, I think the beer would be nicer.

+1 on Nicks comments, that's really good guidance. TAD is a good system, I bought it and used it for 12 months and I had a good experience with it BUT if given the time again I would save the shekels and work to a simple keg system.

Wouldn't recommend this system , both me and my mate have had trouble with exploding kegs
Cheers john
