Hi Homebrewers

I´m from Portugal. My purpose joining your fórum is to lern, as it seems a very good one.
I Just brew my first batch yesterday, an extract brew of Australian Pale Ale from Coopers.
As our online shops didnt have EB2, I bought the ingredientes separatly and i did like this:
1 can of Australian Pale Ale
600g of Dry Pale malte extract
400g of dextrose
250g of maltodrextine

OG 1044

I dont know if will turn ok, but the bobbling is working very vigorously, which is giving me confidence of a good brew.

Kind Regards
DAlves

Greetings from Australia. We used to make a lot of "Port" here that is a sweet dark brown wine but nowadays only genuine imported stuff from the Douro Valley is allowed to be called Port.
What beers do you have in Portugal? I've been to Spain but not over the border.

Hi brewers

Thank you for so warming welcome!!!

You gonna forgive me, but "Port" its just from Oporto city in the Douro region of Portugal. A must to see, beautiful place. I understand that you have that good wine too, but its not equal, and the origin of that wine was in Douro, wich have unique caractheristics, in soil, wether and grapes. They dont do it, in other parts of Portugal.

Our craft beers, you can see in this link:http://cervejaartesanalportuguesa.tumblr.com/cervejas/

As well, im sending the rate of our craft beers, rated from Ratebeer from USA: http://www.ratebeer.com/country/portugal/164/

Regards
