Planning an American-style Brown Ale. I've got over a dozen AG batches behind me, and no real duds.
I know I tend to favour over-complication, using 7 malts when a couple may do the trick, so would like some feedback on this recipe I've devised:
Joe White Pale - 66.7%
Briess Victory - 8.3%
Simpsons Wheat - 8.3%
JW Chocolate - 5%
JW Crystal - 5%
Gambrinus Honey - 5%
Weyermann Carafa II - 1.7%
Mash 62 deg / 70 deg - 30 min / 30 min
FWH - 20 IBU Williamette
10 min - 5 IBU Williamette
yeast - Lutra Kveik
OG 1.051 FG 1.013
EBC 46 BU/GU 0.5
