Amber ale kit experimenting

Hi, I am a bit new to this but have 7 brews done, all pretty good, but now the shop where I used to go stopped selling kits, so am putting a mix together from another shop with no idea at all.

I have a can of morgans Amber ale and a can of coopers amber liquid malt. I have also bought 2 hops (morgans pelleted), Hallertau and Fuggles. Last AA I made, I used a powder malt and Willamette hops.

Questions:
1) which hops should I use or should I add both, or do I need to buy something else?
2) will this LME go with the brew and what differences can I expect from a LME as opposed to powdered malt?

I'm interested to hear about the difference between liquid and dry malt extracts... About to branch out from pure kit.
