You can buy an adhesive backed velcro strip and stick it to the fridge surface. Then you can use a velcro strap around the CO2 bottle to keep it where you want it.

Can you knock up a shelf with bars on it, and then tie something to the shelf to keep the bottle balanced?

Yup I noticed that on the paper flyer. I'll stock up on those, some nice beers in there. Also litre tins of Germania (never heard of it before) for five bucks. If they aren't too old and "tinny" they might be a good skull job at that price.

I'll be heading through Grafton on Thursday. Hopefully Brew Matt and Ducatiboy will have left some.

Heaps left at Grafton, quite a good drop for about $5 a litre. Smooth, nothing objectionable - malt and fairly mild bitterness - pretty much your standard Oettinger type pils but very smashable. There's also something brutally satisfying about necking a litre can. I mean with cans (Hollandia shown to scale), who needs glasses. Cheers.

Lordy. A litre can. You'd be having a hard sesh to finish it before the can warms up too much

Just finished my second .. being German it actually tastes quite ok as it warms, unlike something like VB or TED that takes on wheelie bin aromas. Certainly adds a new dimension to the term "six pack".

looks good!
Went to Ballina and Lismore Aldi this week but none to be seen...... bummer.

This takes 2 TEDs, never had it go warm. If a beer goes warm it mustn’t have tasted nice enough to drink it anyway... [emoji6]

Bought one of those cans on the way home from work this arvo.

No complaints for the price.

Drinking a germania pils now. You could do way worse. Best bet though is to drink from the can. I managed to dribble it all over the couch trying to decant the big ******* into a glass.

You're lucky to be able to buy it, here in South Australia we're controlled by a socialist government made up primarily of the Shoppies union - in fact the government here is controlled by the Shoppies union and do what ever the Shoppies union tell them to do and that includes locking Aldi out of selling liquor because it upsets the Shoppies union.

You can come here for a holiday but don't stay long...

Aldi has a 2-in-1 gas bbq / smoker for $399 from 23/12. Has anyone seen or used these before? I can't find any mention of them on the internet. Features and build looks like it could be quite good.

Looks like both cooking areas will be quite small though...wouldn't be able to do a decent amount of meat in the smoker section

Are you looking just at the photo? Not sure I agree that it is small. The whole unit is 1395mm wide and 635mm deep, assuming the smoker cooking area is at least 550mm square which would give more useable space than a Weber kettle.
