Hi Al,

Following on from my search for a new Vacuum pump for a small wine bottling unit I have http://aussiehomebrewer.com/topic/72901-vacuum-pumps/ , I was able to get a replacement, but only its 12V.

I have sourced a power supply

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/140579851450

But I require the female socket to wire into the housing rather than "hard wire" it in.

Attached is a photo of the power supply.

Any suggestions on where I can source this from?

Cheers, Pok

BTW you will need a 5.5mm x 2.1mm one.

Not sure about panel mount, I've always used a speaker connector and push the wires in to connect.
Then you cut the end of the supply and solder it to the back of the speaker terminals. Or you could get these to break out to wires.

More recently I've started using XLR connectors for everything. They come in panel and cable mounts

Thanks MCHammo,

Jaycar was my first thought but I could not for the life of me find them on the website. I ended up ordering one off ebay....$1 delivered....cheaper than the 1/2-1hr each way drive to my closest jaycar for a $2-3 part

Yeah, there is that... but sometimes you want (need) a part now, not in 3 weeks time. I guess I'm lucky with a Jaycar about 15 mins away. I always have a hard copy of the catalogue on hand, it took me less than 20 seconds to find the right page :)

the old hard copy. I did have one but since moving I have no idea where it is.
