Hey guys,

I need a 1/2" silicone washer for my ball valve, where in Brisbane should I go to find one on a Sunday?

silicone bakeware is really good for sealing bolts and valves, the square cake ones give the most silicone

you can get them at $2 shops and also Bigw and kmart if that what your after

cheers matho

+1 for the silicone bakeware. i was too lazy to walk out of my way so picked up a silicon cookie baking sheet from woolies. each sheet will probably easily make 30 silicon washers.

I use silicone baby bottle teats that have been chewed out.
Perfect for 1/2 or 3/4
Just cut to suit

Can be bought cheap at IGA

+1 for bakeware. Mrs hasnt even noticed its missing & ive had heaps of use out of it (font gaskets, washers, non-slip little foot pads glued on, etc).

What, chewing out baby bottle teats? Nah, I myself prefer the real thing, nothing beats it. :icon_chickcheers:
For those who enjoyed Little Britain: No, bittie now, not bittie later!!

If you're stuck, I've got some washers here you can have. In Murarrie. Definitely no Bitty though!! :icon_vomit:

That is simply brilliant, never thought of it...

Thanks!!
