    Filling A Keg From Bottles

Hello all I was wondering if anyone had any tips for filling a corny keg from 375ml commercial beer bottles. Reason being I am making a mate of mine a three tap kegerator for exchange for his bobcat help at my property. I dont wish to present it to him empty so was going to...

Wooooohooooo...dan Murphy's Is Coming To My Town

My local Dan Murphys at East Maitland only caters for the mega swill market (in beer). Not much variety at all. The most "exotic" (for want of a better word) is James Squires Golden Ale, and they only stock these in individual beers - no cartons to be found !!!!! You may also see...

    RecipeDB - DrSmurto's Golden Ale

This is one of my favourites, everyone loves it. I have not felt the need to fiddle with the recipe as yet but today I throw a cube of Dr Smurtos golden ale(?) onto a yeast cake of S-189. Mainly through shear laziness. Ill see how it goes and report what I come up with

    Kegging Setups

Have you considered useing a collar. Lots of advantages to be had. I had a font but soon switched to the collar setup, I was getting a half schooner of hot beer with my first pour even with a flooded font.

    Too Much Roast?

I got a grain bill from the local brew shop and was hopeing someone could answer this question. Is this too much roast malt? What can I expect it to turn out like? The recipe (Steve's KOBA clone) called for 25grams of roast but instead I beleive there is more like 250grams. Should I go ahead...

    Underage Drinking

Yes I too beleive there is a lot to this, In my mind you have to put in the hard yards early in the childs life so issues like this dont become too difficult to handle when they reach their teens.
