Which Commercial Kegs Can You Legally Own?

Sorry, I wasn't thinking Cincinnatti when I wrote the reply. The tracking being employed at major AUSTRALIAN (Foster's, Lion Nathan) breweries is RFID based not GPS.

Which Commercial Kegs Can You Legally Own?

The "tracking device" has nothing to do with preventing theft - it is to track kegs within the brewery for cleaning, filling, dispatch, delivery, return, maintenance, etc. It is feasible that individual kegs that go missing could be tracked to where they last were in the legitimate chain - but...

    Matilda Bay - Fat Yak

Wandered down to the Breaky Creek pub at lunch time and saw it was on tap. Also saw Scott Vincent (new head brewer for Matilda Bay, who I've known for a long time but hadn't seen in a while) standing at the bar trying to get some customer feedback - which wins a few more brownie points I reckon...

    Ebay, Gumtree and FB Marketplace

I've got one of them - fits six kegs and a gas bottle, built a small bar of the front with a three tap font. Works great.

    Birthday Drinks

Thanks Ross - and happy 50th to you (I can't imagine what it's like to be that old .. at least for another 4 years :o ) and to all the other AHB Halloween babies. Have a good one :icon_cheers: . I don't say much on here (that will change when my new brewery is finally up and running), but I'm...

    Coolum, Places To Go

Welcome to God's own country. B) The Pig 'n Whistle in Maroochydore have some good Pommie beers on tap and LCPA as well. If you get up to the Hinterland, there's a pub at Montville with 15 English beers. There's also a First Choice in Maroochydore with some good takeaways (same selection as...

Pint Glasses - Where Is Best To Get Em?

Yep, they have a huge selection of glasses (and anything else for the hospitality industry), although their prcing on most items seems a bit over the top.

    Great Pubs Of Adelaide

The Old Lion and British Arms in North Adelaide. Had a very memorable Sunday afternoon in the beer garden of the British Arms about 15 years ago. Would like to relate the story, but this would probably be my last post on here. Cheers Peter

    Favorite Brewery Tour

Visited the Carbrook Brewery yesterday, got the full tour and (like always) tasted some fantastic beers - particularly loved the NZ Hopburst. It doesn't get any better than that! :beerbang: :D

Chest Freezer Collar.... How Do I Make One?

Doesn't really answer the original question, because you've already bought a freezer. But if you can get hold of one of these it solves a lot of hassle. These have sliding lids which allow a narrow piece of ply to be fitted at one end to allow a hole to be drilled (and sealed) to bring out...

    Morebeer In-line Check/ball Valve

Blow through it with the ball valve open, if it's got a check valve built-in it will only pass air in one direction and that's the inlet. cheers Peter

A Pair Of Old Blokes In Brissy

:o turns sheepish look on really sorry Batz - it's no excuse but bosses' plane broke down in Sydney and they arrived about 3 hours late. No time for lunch. I suppose there's worse places to be stuck than 152 though. Next time I'll shout a couple of rounds for all AHBers who turn up - now...
