Sorry, I wasn't thinking Cincinnatti when I wrote the reply. The tracking being employed at major AUSTRALIAN (Foster's, Lion Nathan) breweries is RFID based not GPS.

The "tracking device" has nothing to do with preventing theft - it is to track kegs within the brewery for cleaning, filling, dispatch, delivery, return, maintenance, etc. It is feasible that individual kegs that go missing could be tracked to where they last were in the legitimate chain - but...

Wandered down to the Breaky Creek pub at lunch time and saw it was on tap. Also saw Scott Vincent (new head brewer for Matilda Bay, who I've known for a long time but hadn't seen in a while) standing at the bar trying to get some customer feedback - which wins a few more brownie points I reckon...

I've got one of them - fits six kegs and a gas bottle, built a small bar of the front with a three tap font. Works great.

Yep, they have a huge selection of glasses (and anything else for the hospitality industry), although their prcing on most items seems a bit over the top.

Visited the Carbrook Brewery yesterday, got the full tour and (like always) tasted some fantastic beers - particularly loved the NZ Hopburst. It doesn't get any better than that! :beerbang: :D

Doesn't really answer the original question, because you've already bought a freezer. But if you can get hold of one of these it solves a lot of hassle. These have sliding lids which allow a narrow piece of ply to be fitted at one end to allow a hole to be drilled (and sealed) to bring out...

Blow through it with the ball valve open, if it's got a check valve built-in it will only pass air in one direction and that's the inlet. cheers Peter
