    a good calculator for this can be found here http://homedistiller.org/calcs/dilute Put coke bourbon and keg in a fridge set at 0c, this will help keep CO2 in solution. then just fill the keg, purge and set to serve pressure. i have found unless you have time dont **** with the CO2 volumes.

    the bit that they screwed into was a plastic bung that was hammered in when it was filled. i don't think you can get them anymore.

    Like has been said silicon bung with a stainless bolt and 2 large washers to tighten it. More than likely the spear assembly looked like this.

    If you are going to have something fabricated you are better of getting what you want. It costs money to have things custom made and as cheap as he may be it is still going to take coin to buy materials and consumables. things like argon filler rod grinding discs they start to add up.

    200mm or 8", clamp about $45, a spool is $200, reducer is $200, i have a 300mm ferrule and end cap and clamp which cost me about $500 from brewshardware.

    I have a 9 and 18 for a bung I was think a silicon bung with a stainless bolt and wing nut through it. So you can jam the bung in and just squash it out with the bolt to tighten it. As a safety measure the bolt could be a wide tee to stop it coming out under pressure.

    Cheaper and easier to get a concrete cutter to do it.saw an engineer try to cut a precast panel with a quick cut saw instead of putting it back on the truck. Haha tried to make himself look good ended up looking like an idiot when he had to get a contractor with a road saw.

    I'm thinking of getting a new or different one and using the one I have as a feeder to mash in with. This will feed the milled grain into a hydrator at a constant rate to allow for automated mash in without dough balls. This is how they get coal into a power station boiler only the ground coal...
