    50 - 75 of each still comes to 100 - 150g of crystal overall which is still a decent addition for a kit brew. crystal, when used with kits can cause a beer to become abit syrupy if used in excess. I personally prefer crystal for ag, and use liq wheat malt for better head ret'n in kits, but...

    just thought it's worth noting that the hop plant (Humulus Lupulus) and the cannabis plant are closely related, both belong to the Cannabaceae family.

    Thanks, the last time i used this yeast the temps got a bit out of control (26c)..and there was the banana aroma coming through :( The one i have now is sitting at about 16c and smells alot cleaner. cheers :icon_cheers:

    gday I know youve probably heard it already but it is better to reculture some yeast from a coopers long neck and ferment with that, its a very simple process and makes a lot nicer beer in many peoples opinions. Nowdays i only boil up the kit yeast as nutrient for the primary yeast. happy...

    Two Stage Fermentation.

    Beerbouy, just pour your wort into a clean 40 gal drum and leave it in your backyard to ferment (with the lid off). you should notice some activity within the first 3-4 days as your brew is fermented by wild yeast strains. It wont win any awards, but it will ya pissed. just my two cents...
