I made recently a "Schwarzwiezen"
Basically a Dunkel wiezen recipe with a moderate amount of chocolate (150g)and carafa (100g) on top .
Added a 3333 yeast, it's quite drinkable, little bit bready, little bit roasty

Just realized someone had look at this post, the beer came out great, quite amber in colour and nicely malty.
No one complained about it anyway. I definetly recommend this for chugging.

I use an Excel spreadsheet for all recipes, dates, gravities etc in a numbered serial.
As I only have three fermenters I just write whats in the fermenter on a sheet of paper with the number and leave it on top of the fermenter.
I definetley recommend a spreadsheet though.

I made a half batch coz my half sized fermenter was empty and my 2 full sized fermenters were full, I do find though it is much easy to manage that quantity and make inside the house. It's also good for making smaller amounts of beer that you are not going to smash down ie. stout
