I spent a few years building up a decent brick we called the Monster Truck. It was in pretty rough shape when I got it. Someone was a real Michelangelo with bog.

Those pics barely even scratch the surface of how much rust it had.

The bloody thing is more MIG weld than anything else now. And I got a lot of welding practice out of it.

For my first spray job I certainly could have chosen easier colours. Metalic Ford Galaxy Blue.

There has been some more mods. Adjustable control arms have widened the stance and given some mean looking negative camber to the front end.

It's great fun to drive. Could do with some more power. Perhaps a Jap engine conversion is in the future.

nice car I would love a mini but being 6 ft 4" I think I would have some space issues

Zizzle,

that looks amazing! Well done mate. I can see a lot of love, patience and perseverence went into that re-build. Most people would just look at it and say "why bother?", me included. Full credit to you dude!

Cheers - Snow.

Zizzle, my wife was wondering if the monster truck is for sale. Great work.

Kudos Zizzle. That motor is tuff!! :beerbang: Nice job on the paint for your 1st attempt. (tehehehehe)

Awesome fookin build my friend, I had a Cooper S in my early years, damn thing was like a turbo charged roller skate. The speedo was taken out of the dash to fit the SU's I had fitted and would project a 1m long blue flame between me and the passenger whenever one would take the foot off the go go peddle. Just love your mini, any chance you and Mrs Zizzle bringing it over to Chappo Manor to inspiration and few coldies?

Chap Chap
