Good luck to him, he's got some stiff (cheap) competition.
I remember paying something in the order of 55 Baht (about two bucks AUD) for a longneck of Heineken a few years back from a 7/11. Presumably brewed under licence.
Going by some of the conversations we had with Aussie and American tourists, they're not exactly there to sample the beer.

Intermittent power. Hot and humid as all hell. Work boots optional for staff. Co2 8 times the cost of AU supply. Forecast production for 3 months and do not forget a thing, cos' it's at least 3 months till your next container with supplies arrives.
