Wyeast 1318

Hi all

Im in the middle of doing an order and get to the yeast part need a Wyeast 1318 London ale yeast but bugger out of stock what would be a good substute Im doing a chocolate stout so any suggetions <_<

It does make a nice stout, but that's beside the point now. How about dry yeast, Nottingham or S04, I've not used either in a stout.

How about the 1469 West Yorkshire? I made a nice porter with it and I'd have thought it'd make a good stout.

Was leaning towards the Nottingham but the 1469 profile sounds ok I might go that way

Never used it in a stout, though fantastic pommy yeast none the less.
