Before I knew any better I used to ******* hate a big bitter IPA now I love an IPA unless that's abhorrently bitter.

Wonder if you get a refund if they're wrong?
 
The whole concept is flawed IMO. I don't believe there is one single perfect beer for me - depends on the place, time, weather, accompanying food ...... - a lot of factors independent of my DNA.
 
earle got it on one I reckon. Some days, all I want is to be tongue-slammed by a true-to-style IPA, sometimes I want a refreshing lager. DNA has nothing to do with it.. Google would have better luck predicting my beer preferences based on my browsing habits alone
