Hi all, i am looking for magnetic stir plate at the moment, i am in Melbourne

Please let me know what you have
 
This is probably one of the easiest DIY jobs a home brewer can do. A box, computer fan, magnet and a power supply.

I have done one but the fan controller was a hard one to come by, I had one working but the potentiometer cacked itself

I ended up buying a Kegking one, i will replace that when they Yeast Forge comes out

I used the box that holds all the electrical components stripped the C drive for magnets glued them to a computer fan screwed the fan to the to the box and plugged in the train transformer to give ma a variable speed . Don't use it much as I sit the flask on top of the water heater and when I think of it just pick it up and give it a stir . I managed to get a year old yeast going just by doing the latter .
